Robert M. Lichtman is of counsel at Kastner | Banchero LLP. He has practiced law in California since 1986. PRACTICE AREAS: Mr. Lichtman has practiced in Washington, D.C. and , since 1986, in San Francisco. His practice emphasizes civil appeals and business litigation. He served in 1967 as counsel to the special House committee assigned to report on the Adam Clayton Powell seating controversy. After practicing much of his career Washington, D.C. with his own firm, Lichtman, Abeles & Anker and then as a senior member of Wald, Harkrader & Ross. Mr. Lichtman also works as an historian. His book "Deadly Farce: Harvey Matusow and the Informer System in the McCarthy Era" (University of Illinois Press) was published in 2004. EDUCATION
